New week, new things: Thugged Out Since Cub Scouts tees.

Posted on December 3, 2012

Another day, another round of ‘Thugged Out Since Cub Scouts’ tees. Or so it feels like. In actuality, it was a wee while ago that we released a bunch of these t-shirts for sale – we weren’t going to, but the demand has been too much to ignore. “Let’s give the people what they want!” we say. (We, being Isaac and I.) Anyhow, it’s late and today has been stressful and I’m obviously tired – you can tell by my extensive rambling – so let’s get to the point: We’ve re-released the Thugged Out Since Cub Scouts tees for a limited time only. We’re making them to order, so you’ve got to get yours in by 5:00pm on the 9th of December (Sunday) 2012…

I know that’s a really long title for a blog post, but all three things had to be mentioned because they’re all very important and I know you want to hear all the details, so here goes: Firstly, the dolla dolla bills ya’ll! Next Saturday 3rd March, Auckland’s ‘Big Little City’ is putting on a bit of a shindig around the CBD – think Shop One Night, but the IRL (In Real Life) version! Stores all through Auckland’s CBD will be running deals and promotions and giveaways and some even have drinks and nibbles on for you while you shop. In addition to that, there’s a little scavenger-hunt-esque game where you collect four stamps from four parts of the city (all within walking distance),…

Mates! Readers! Lovers! Enemies! People who come across this blog occasionally and are indifferent to me and what I do! This is a friendly reminder to save the date on Thursday 23rd February (that’s THIS Thursday) from 5pm – Midnight (New Zealand time!), because that’s when our new Isaac Likes Katherine is Awesome ‘Thugged Out Since Cub Scouts’ tees are going to be re-launched for your purchase. If you’re wanting to see some cool guys looking cool and attractive in our new tees (the above is Ngahuia in the OG Thugged Out sweater – sorry, it’s not available this time around) – see below and keep an eye on my photo blog and Isaac Likes Diary over the next couple of days. The nitty gritty details…

Things I have discovered since my grandmother passed away on Saturday.

Posted on July 13, 2011

This may be a slightly morbid thing to blog about – and it’s definitely not fashion related, but whilst going through the process of having someone die and having to organise their things and their funeral, and basically tie up all the loose ends is obviously a sad and difficult thing to do, I have also found it incredibly interesting. In the process of arranging my grandmother’s funeral, a few odd pieces of information have presented themselves. For example, it turns out my grandmother used to be a teacher. Who knew? Nobody. Nobody except for my grandfather who for some reason, declined to share that with anybody until yesterday. How weird is that? So weird. Also, it turns out it’s a chinese custom…

Highs and Low(e)s.

Posted on December 23, 2012

Highs: It feels like Summer. You know what I mean – it’s in the air. People are relaxed and socialising more, everyone’s in a better mood. I like. Chingy is coming to New Zealand. Yeah, that Chingy. I’ve told pretty much everyone I know because I’m half curious, half incredulous. It’s obviously not been promoted that well because hardly anyone knows he’s doing a show. I mean, whatever happened to that guy?! Even better? You can buy a MEET AND GREET TICKET for NZ$65.00! That’s NZ$5.00 more than I paid to spontaneously see Grimes last week. It’s so bad that it’s good. It’s so good I might just do it. Who’s with me? I had one of the best fish burgers I’ve ever had…
